Teak Sealer 3 is a high-quality oil-based finish with added teak-colored pigments. Using Teak Sealer 3 helps preserve the teak’s natural color for a long time while protecting the teak surface from quickly absorbing dirt. Teak Sealer 3 protects your outdoor furniture and lasts for at least one season. This product is oil-based.
This is in contrast to teak oil, which remains on the surface of the teak wood and does not penetrate the wood. Teak oil usually wears off after a few months.
For best results when applying Teak Sealer 3, we recommend that you first thoroughly clean your furniture with Teak & Garden Teak Cleaner & Brightener.
WARNING: DO NOT use green soap to clean your furniture. Green soap is greasy and therefore prevents Teak & Garden Teak Sealer 3 from being properly absorbed into the teak. If you do this, you will end up with a patchy finish. It is better to use Teak Cleaner & Brightener 1 & 2.
